Vimla Bansal Girls Hostel Admission and Leave Rules

ADMISSION CRITERIA
True to its commitment to excellence, Dhanbad Public School’s Vimla Bansal Girls' Hostels work with the mission to provide education, cultural and social support to deserving bright secondary and senior secondary school students. Admission is granted to meritorious students, strictly on the basis of their performance.
Rooms are allotted to students keeping in mind individual needs, like academic goalsand results, as well as emotional strength and socio-cultural background. Admission to the Hostel is granted for 1 year. Hostel fees will be paid in advance for this duration. Fees for Class XI will be paid on admission. Withdrawal from the
hostel will result in the student's name being struck off the school rolls. There will be no refund of hostel fees, except for caution money. Life at the hostel provides numerous social, philanthropic and leadership possibilities. Hostel residents enhance their leadership and organizational skills, through assuming governing roles such as Head Girl and Incharges of Food, Cleanliness, Cultural and Discipline Committees. These Incharges along with Floor Monitors, actively contribute towards making community living a joyful learning experience.

Leave Rules:
**Every second and fourth weekend of the month is going out weekend.

**Students are allowed to visit local guardians through the system of gate passes issued to them by the Hostel Wardens.

**Authority letters will not be accepted.

** Local guardians or parents must collect their wards personally.

** Entry after weekend outings will be before 7.00 p.m. on Sunday.

**No student will be allowed to enter the hostel after 7.00 p.m. under any circumstance even while returning from term breaks.

**If the train/bus timings are after 7.00 p.m., they will go to their Local Guardians who will then drop them at school the next day before the school begins.

  **All students must report on the given date after any vacation, failing which they will be fined Rs. 500/- per day or their admission will be cancelled. In case of any emergent reason the Principal will take action accordingly.
